Our Mandarin Superstars program delivers proven results and is loved by children and recommended by both parents and educators.
Our Mission
Our Mission at Mandarin Superstars is to inspire a love for learning to read, write and speak Chinese so children develop the capacity and confidence to communicate and be connected with both the local and wider global community.
Our purpose is to develop students who are multilingual citizens of the global world who:
- appreciate and embrace different cultures and languages
- have a positive impact in both local and global communities
- exhibit curiosity and problem-solving
- become visionaries who are future innovators for good
All the activities we plan place young children at the centre of our pedagogical approach and we choose a range of activities to deliver our themes, including:
- sensory-based play
- outdoor adventures and exploration (Mandarin in the Park program)
- workbook activities that develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in Mandarin, as well as the introduction and practical application of both early and primary years numeracy and literacy-based concepts
- short stories
- rhymes, singing
- music and movement
- ‘mini Mandarin science time’ to develop early years science inquiry and concepts skills
- puppet shows
- dramatic play
- arts and crafts
